Heading into chemo Tuesday. I’m planning to wear an adult diaper to minimize needing to take off the coolmitts and socks I’m going to wear to give myself the best shot at not getting peripheral neuropathy, & am considering fasting beforehand (or minimizing caloric intake since I’m feeling fragile and and the steroids I’m to take are supposed to be with food). I imagine this feels a bit like what my sister might have felt before she did the Ironman. I haven’t precisely trained for the event, and yet I have a strong sense that everything in my life til now perfectly prepares me for what lies ahead. May I spend the minutes of this time in this form allowing universal Light through. In service. #cancerjourney #flattiesunite
